No, neither of us are graduating – but you probably know a few cousins, siblings or significant others who are. This upcoming weekend in Rhode Island, Christa’s brother is graduation from Roger Williams with a degree in Architecture (yay!), and she, Curtis, her parents, and both sets of grandparents will be there to celebrate. We’ve already had to deal with the graduation dress fiasco (what to wear??), but realizing that she’ll be in almost as many pictures as the graduate, the question about what to wear has come up again.
The biggest problem is weather. You never know what you’re going to get in New England in the beginning of May. Christa’s graduation was outdoors and POURING rain, while Regina’s was a nice day, but inside. Nick’s will be outdoors under a tent, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for that the mid 70’s party cloudy forecast that we saw today. We’re breaking down a couple Graduation activity outfits for you — the actual ceremony, the afterparty and Sunday brunch with the fam — but feel free to mix and match if one outfit seems more appropriate for your event. And most importantly, layer up, fuel up (pack extra snacks and water), and sunscreen up if you’re outside, because you’re going to be there for awhile!
