I think we’re finally getting a little break from the rain…it’s been a rough couple of days. I’m already thinking ahead to cheerier times – as you may notice in my favorite Etsy pieces this month – colorful floral towels, tote bags for fun weekend trips, bright planners for keeping track of all things wedding (!), gorgeous utensils for hosting get-togethers, adorable vintage wine racks for day drinking with friends, and dainty gold jewelry for such occasions! Can you put Etsy items on your registry?! 😉
Happy Monday, loves! How is October a week away?! We’re officially into Fall and we’re excited for Fall things, like apple picking, Halloween & socks! We’re also into crafty goods, neutrals and graphic typography – visible below!
Welp, it’s the last week of August, how did that happen?! We’re feelin’ the end of summer vibes with graphic, geometric motifs and crisp clean designs that will transition into Fall oh so well. I know, I said Fall…let’s pretend I didn’t 😉
^ How amazing is that shelf – it has such style and functionality!
^ Makes me want to wear turbans and get bangs 🙂
^ Guys – I’m obsessed with these ladies. I want everything. This tray/wall art is gorgeous, and I’m eying this headboard real hard.
Happy Monday, loves! How was everyone’s Father’s Day weekends? We had a busy busy day on Saturday shooting with CT Eats Out & Allegra Anderson for another CT Eats Out post that we are very excited about! We then got to hang with our Dads! My family went mini golfing with some family friends, and then had an amazing surf & turf meal that my Dad grilled up at home. Reg’s parents drove her back to Boston and they had a decadent meal over at Legal Seafood. Nothin’ like a beautiful day with some amazing food 🙂
Anyway, we’re back with this month’s Etsy Round Up, and it always surprises me how I can accidentally create a theme while browsing for my items. This month I am loving metallics and home goods apparently! Curtis and I have been talking about looking at new apartments, so maybe I’m channeling my inner stylist and secretly getting excited about redecorating a new place! Enjoy…:)
^ Pizza is big in our family, and Curtis and I met at a pizza place, so this gorgeous peel caught my attention!
^ Curtis so lovingly helped me refinish our dining room table (hoping to eventually get a before & after post of that up on the blog eventually!), but we never got around to sealing the wood, so we live in constant fear of water marks! I never knew I could be so into coasters…
Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and we found some lovely Etsy items that your Ma will love! Browsing Etsy is one of my favorite internet holes to get sucked into, and it’s even more fun when you’re looking for items to pamper your mom with!
^ Get her something she normally wouldn’t buy for herself, like a gorgeous leather glasses case (*insert sunglasses emoji here*)
^ Because your mom probably don’t pamper herself as much as she should!
Happy hump day, loves! Since it’s a bit gloomy here in New England, we were thinkin about how nice it would be to online shop for a bit 🙂 While we accidentally missed February’s Etsy Round Up (sorry Feb!), we’re back at it today with items that we feel are optimistic for Spring!
Happy chilly, windy Monday morning, friends! We’re back at it this week, and I thought some beautiful handmade goodies would cheer you right up! Check out these gorgeous items that will hopefully inspire you – or make you want to spend some of that holiday money…
^ Now that I have 1 camera and 2 lenses, I’m finding it hard to pack them safely in the bags I own. I can understand why people spend big bucks to keep their gear in protective cases, and I can see the rise of cute AND functioning bags for us ladies out there tryin to look good while casually taking photos.
^ Although I have far too many blankets for this awesome blanket holder, it is just so beautifully made and constructed that I would be happy to pick my best 2 throws to display on this!
How are you guys on your halloween costumes?? I thought I had my perfect costume and things changed, so I’m sort of floundering a bit – which I hate, because I LOVE dressing up for Halloween! Anyway, we figured you’ve seen the excess of last minute Halloween costume links floating around Facebook and online in general, so we’re moving right along to this month’s Etsy Round Up!
Before finding out I was allergic to nickel, fun earrings were my thing. But I still suffer for fashion on occasion 😉
Happy August, friends! As you read this, I will most likely still be on the plane to Denver! I am going with my brother to get him settled into grad school there (so cool!). I have never been, and am super excited to check it out!
As usual, it was very difficult to curate only 6 items for our monthly round up, because everything is so amazing! As far as themes, this round up has a little less rhyme or reason that some in the past, but each piece is unique and beautiful none-the-less. Check out the beautiful items below:
I have an unreal amount of tote bags – but this one is just so adorable! Perfect gift item as well 😉
Removable wallpaper is as good as it gets for us apartment dwellers – and this shop has some amazing patterns! Accent walls here I come…
This gorgeous ring is a bit of a splurge, but think about how versatile it is! Something to save for this fall!
Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Although the weather wasn’t great, our company was! A weekend full of friends and fun. We had at least 2 people sleeping over on both Friday & Saturday night, and it was perfect. All that entertaining got me excited for the rest of the summer – sitting out on the deck, having drinks with friends, and staying up late. This month’s Etsy Round Up reminds me of those things. Take a look yourself…
Although I have no connection to Virginia, this print (along with the Kansas, New York and California prints) are beautiful! My parents have a gorgeous dogwood in the front yard, so maybe that’s why I like it so much 🙂
Between taking printmaking classes in college and working at a letterpress studio for a bit, this adorable play on an ink container is super adorable!
