What a beautiful Friday! The sun is out, and we’re hoping it stays that way for the long weekend! Christa is heading up to New Hampshire and Reg is chillin in Boston to go apple picking/cider donut eating with her gal pals. We’ll both continue to binge on the new Bon Iver album – which is amazing. What are y’ll up to?

Hello, all! What’s everyone up to this weekend? We’ve been LOVING this weather lately. Bright & sunny with a little chill in the air — perfect for a morning jog, afternoon bike rides, or apple picking. Too many adorable options to choose from (*cough, cough* basic b*itches?? Yup). Hope you all get a chance to enjoy these next couple of days, see you on Monday!

Hello dearies — what’s everyone up to this weekend? Christa and I have been feeling pretty tangled in a million different webs these days, and can’t help but look forward to catching on up doing things that settle us back into ourselves. I personally would love to go to yoga and perhaps bake something, two things that always help me in feeling centered and grounded. Hope you all have beautiful weekends, see you on Monday!

cct // We as bloggers really know this is true about Instagram & photography in general, but it’s always nice to remind ourselves that there are some days that you can fake it, and some days that it’s ok that you can’t (let’s just live in the moment a little more, right?).

Max Wagner Photography

As a fellow blogger you probably already know about Max Wagner. His work has been shown on many of our favorite LA blogs like Designlovefest, Oh Joy! & Emily Henderson – and you should know about him, because his work is so enjoyable! We’ve been fans for a couple years now, but we’re always drawn back to his work this time of year because it’s so summery!

Room Refresh // Eclectic Bedroom

Hey all! In case you weren’t around last month or have forgotten, we started a new series at G&M called Room Refresh, where we took 4 themes (eclectic, minimal, global and masculine) as a basis to refresh your living rooms. Since we enjoyed it so much, we’ve decided to keep the series thriving and apply these themes in your bedrooms!

Behold, the eclectic bedroom! In case you don’t remember the basics to an eclectic room, it pretty much involves bright pops of color & prints, counteracted by neutral backdrops. Christa and I were big fans of watching What Not To Wear back in the day (may it rest in peace), and as Stacey and Clinton once said “it doesn’t have to match, it just has to go!” Here’s some inspiration to get you started:

1 2 3 4 5

If you love the eclectic look like we do and are looking to add a little spice to your boudoir, here are some pieces to rev your engines:

Happy Friday! It was one of those weeks, and it’s almost over guys – yay! Reg and I get to hang this weekend (another yay!) and we thought this picture was appropriate because of course we’ll be brunching on Sunday (we’re thinkin Rizzutos, check out that drink list). With only a few hours left, enjoy our links and get out and about this weekend! The weather is supposed to be gorgeous here in CT, so we’re gonna take full advantage. xo G&M
