Hey, girl. I see you’re wearing your party pants because it’s Friday.

Yaaaaas it is indeedy! We’re jazzed to recover from our first week back to reality. How did you all hold up? Hopefully it wasn’t too bad! Ours started out rough but smoothed out as the week went on. Now we’re ready to get back to the Friday Night Lights marathon that we left off on! See ya on Monday!

I’m not following the plan perfectly, because frankly fitting the gym into my schedule 5 days a week is nearly impossible. BUT I’m making an active effort to do at least 3 days a week. The moves are great because you can easily add or decrease weight or reps to make it more or less challenging.

Happy Weekend!

Hello, all! How’s everyone’s week been? We were both able to keep busy, but not hectic, which is always appreciated! This weekend we have all sorts of things on the agendas… Christa will be celebrating her boyfriend’s birthday as well as a friend’s bachelorette party, while I’ll be mostly taking it easy since I’ve been away the last few weekends. I’m thinking of making brunch tomorrow and having my first attempt at paddle-boarding on Sunday, wish me luck!

Did you guys know that tomorrow is National Rosé Day?? We’re awfully excited, because nothing says “I’m a fancy person enjoying this delightful weather” quite the way a nice cold crisp glass of rosé does. Enjoy, and have a great weekend, everyone!

cct // So apparently the Hipster phase is dead, and the next despised group of people sounds a little too familiar…it’s the “I want to be creative and fulfilled in my job, even if it means taking a pay cut” person. You fall into this category if you: really want to go to Austin soon because you heard it’s incredible, love Seinfeld even though it went off the air when you were 16, and you have thousands of Instagram followers, but almost no Twitter followers. YUP sounds about right…

CHEERLEADER

Have you guys heard of Cheerleader? If not, it’s time you oughta. We may be a little biased because they’re some of our best friends, but for real, their sound is just what you want on a sunny day. Known for their hazy indie pop tunes, they’ve been landing them some serious internet play, and have recently been featured on some of our favorite sites like Refinery29’s New Music September Nylon Magazine’s Band Crush.

Joe (middle) & Chris (2nd to the left) went to high school with the two of us in CT, and were biffies with Christa’s boyfriend Curtis long before she and him even began dating. Over the years they’ve been in all sorts of bands, and now Cheerleader is really crushing it. These gents just keep doing what they love, and it’s paying off.

Based out of Philly, they’re currently touring the North East — so if you have a chance to see them, we highly recommend it! They’re heading to NYC & Boston at the end of the month, but you can check out the other tour dates and locations here. Also make sure to take a look at their recent adds to iTunes!
