2016 Planners

2016Planner

We’re getting excited to ring in the new year with, wait for it…organization! And with planners this pretty, it seems like it won’t be too hard! But for real, with 2016 on the horizon, the best way to approach a new year is to get organized. As addicted to our iPhone calendars as we are, it felt weird to go back to a paper planner, but we found it to be much easier to see little notes and appointments spread out in one space. So think about a physical planner option this year…because you never know when your iPhone might crap out. Sorry, what a terrible thought — fingers crossed it won’t 🙂

Happy Valentine’s Day weekend, friends! Hope you’re all staying toasty out there with the ones you love! What’re your plans for the weekend? Ours will likely involve a whole lotta flannel, because it is freezing out there! We may both attempt to go sledding, depending on the weather, because there is ANOTHER potential blizzard heading our way… I just don’t even know what to say any more.

Have a fantastic weekend! PS I want that thumb ring.

rkv // this little list on how to make some mulla on Ebay is so great! I think I may actually give it a go!

rkv // I found this post on Valentine’s Day from a dude’s perspective to be pretty cute — go figure they all involve being low-key and just spending time with another. Sounds about right, considering my guy and I will be enjoying a wonderful pizza dinner for two 🙂

So, it’s August? Where did that come from? This month has been known to bring us a bit of sorrow in the past, as we suddenly realize that summer is already halfway through. But yuh know what? We say no. No to sulking, and yes to rejoicing. Have yourself a little (or a lot) of ice cream, and embrace these warm nights while we can… #liveitupbaby

World Cup 2014!

In honor of the first World Cup game today, we have some awesome vintage pics! Hard to believe images and graphics were once this marvelous without the help of instagram, afterlight, vsco, photoshop, illustrator… and endless others. It was an art of coordinating the right moment, great light, perfectly grainy film, and some fierce fonts and color choices. Enjoy!

Graphic tees have been making a big splash these days, and we’ve got all sorts of languages covered – French, English, Italian! These bold yet simple shirts can definitely stand on their own, but who doesn’t love a good statement necklace? Bold & chunky neck-candy is a great way to add some flavor to a minimal tee.

Any trends you guys have been noticing that you’d like to see featured? We’d love to know!

Sorry for the cheeseball pic, we’re just excited to be having a girls weekend together in Boston! Christa is heading up with our friend Brit after work for a grand ol’ time! Another cool thing about today is that it’s pi day! (get it, 3.14??) and we’re using it as an excuse to literally eat pie. Anyway, we hope you all have a fantastic weekend friends, and enjoy our Friday links!
