It’s a hot one, guys, but it’s Friday! We’re trying to stay cool & keep our heads up after another terrible world tragedy – ❤ sending love to France.

Christa had family in from Germany (hi Alicia & Timm :)) yesterday so she & Curtis showed them around New Haven & Hartford, with a stop at Flatbread (duh). Reg has been busy busy at work, and we’re all ready for a loungey weekend. Stay cool and give hugs to your loved ones. xo G&M

Seriously though, what is this weather?? We’re very much hoping that New England is just getting this rain out of it’s system before the weekend, because we want sunshine! We have activities on the brain, and rain just doesn’t go along with any of them. One thing, however, that we know that our weekends will certainly be full of is wonderful food. We’ve got the whole shebang here to inspire your kickoff to summer— apps, dogs, and dessert — woot!

Dinner & Drinks

With sunshine extending past work hours these days, the idea of having friends over and making a spring dish with a matching cocktail is sounding pretty good. Now that our hibernation mode is nearing an end, eating heavy foods just doesn’t sound nearly as appealing as it once did. We’re lightening things up a bit to jump-start spring, and these recipes sound like a wonderful way to do so!

We’ve paired 2 delicious sounding light dinners with equally delightful drinks. Enjoy!
